Since opening in January of 2000,  HomeSmart has become a leader in the Real Estate industry by implementing the latest technology and providing outstanding customer service to our agents and clients. HomeSmart’s ongoing vision is to continue to deliver this high standard of service and to constantly improve upon our business model of efficiency, quality and value.   

In support of this ongoing philosophy, HomeSmart is very proud to announce the acquisition of Dan Schwartz Realty Inc., a company with more than 30 years of heritage built around integrity and a commitment to its Agents, its Clients, and the Community.  Since 1976, Dan Schwartz Realty has established itself as one of the Valley’s largest and most respected real estate brokerages, with over 1,600 agents.  With this acquisition, HomeSmart will be home to more than 3,300 agents, making it the largest real estate brokerage serving the Southwest, and one of the largest real estate companies in the nation. 

HomeSmart and Dan Schwartz Realty share the core values of combining real estate expertise with groundbreaking technology and quality customer service. Combining these great companies aligns naturally with our strategic vision and serves as a vital component to our holistic growth strategy. As a result, our agents and clients will have access to an array of support services and resources unparalleled in the industry.  More than ever before, we are in a superior position to address the diverse needs of our agents and our clients.  We hope one message is clear; these improvements are not intended to change our company, but rather, to strengthen our business model and allow HomeSmart to continue to expand in a market where most of the industry is facing downsizing. Dan Schwartz agents will immediately have access to HomeSmart offices valley wide including Scottsdale, Arrowhead, Mesa,  and Phoenix with additional offices slated to open later in the year.  Both the Dan Schwartz and HomeSmart corporate offices will remain open, with the intent to centralize the two in the near future. 

Although the ultimate goal is to combine the two entities, Dan Schwartz Realty will remain until the end of the year, conducting business as usual.  Agents wishing to transfer to HomeSmart may do so anytime before then.  

As part of this change, Kyle Fouts will be assuming the Designated Broker position for Dan Schwartz Realty.  Duane Fouts will remain actively involved in the company as a Managing Broker and continue his leadership role in our industry on the state and national levels. Matt and I both want to emphasize that the broker help and advice you’ve always enjoyed will continue to be available when you need it! 

This is an exciting time for all of us and provides a unique opportunity for continued growth in a challenging market.  Over the next few months, watch for the opening of new offices in the Valley, as well as more exciting tools, technology, and services to help assure your success.
